It was a failed proposal. It was well-planned together with Ped’s friends and unfortunately, almost everything did not fall into place except that Arlene said yes of course. On the very day of the planned proposal—Novemeber 2011 in Coron, Palawan, Peds caught a flu and they got into a fight. How unlucky can you get?

He pushed through with the plan but being the sweetest guy that he is, Peds was not satisfied.

Prenup shoot day comes, Peds told us about his plan of giving her a new ring and during the sit-down interview he casually blurted out about the new engagement ring and put it on her finger. Arlene’s reaction was indeed priceless.

All of our cameras were rolling to make sure that we capture that few seconds of reaction from Arlene’s face. Genuine emotions never fail to touch you . It will hit you every time.

Rain poured late just in time for the reception. We were expecting that the couple would be upset but still, smiles and laughter were shared all throughout this event. Their love radiated to every person in that venue. The guests were there to stay, to witness, to clap, to laugh, and to share tears of joy.
